Job Description

  1. ADAS Hardware design responsibility in Global ZF Electronics engineering and manufacturing.
  2. Capture and analyze customer and industry requirements relevant to Active safety product and derive it into system level design based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  3. Perform gap analyses to Core product requirements.
  4. Capture and trace the consistency of requirements utilizing DOORS
  5. Work closely with Core and cross-functional team to analyze all internal requirements and ensure requirement quality.
  6. Work closely with Hardware/Software and verification team to ensure requirement quality.
  7. Maintain regular communication with customer management/system engineer to maintain open channels of communication.
  8. Meet customer expectations by managing input and output of cross-functional team’s deliverables and related issues/action items closure in a timely manner following the development schedule which is driven by project team leader.
  9. Manage deliverables based on work product plan in compliance with A-SPICE3.0 and ISO26262.
  10. Handle management tasks as required by the project manager and product development manager.
  11. Clarify and understand product/validation requirements and drive global team to right direction.
  12. Develop System/Hardware design materials (Schematics, Change point analysis/DRBFM, Worst case analysis, Design FMEA, FTA) and align/discuss/review to get agreement with customer

Job Requirements

Education Requirements
•Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering required; or higher.
•5-10 years of experience in engineering in electronics product development or software product development.

Experience and Skill Requirements
1.Work experience in managing group of people in a multi-cultural work environment.
2.More than 5 years of work experience in ECU hardware design (Automotive industry preferred, not a MUST)
- Hardware (ECU design), System on Chip, Power Regulation, Digital and Analog circuits, Microprocessor, A/D, Oscillator clocks, PSI5 and LIN2.1 bus communication, switch drive control circuits (PWM) and Remote Access Satellite sensors
3.Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles and ability to identify risks and issues to be able to provide timely and appropriate solutions.
4.Broad knowledge of multiple technical disciplines and interactions between them.
5.Excellent communication skills, speak efficiently and listen to others in logical manner using Japanese and English. Capture what the customer expects and break down into specific actions (Customer interface experience preferred)
6.Japanese/English technical writing skills in communication.
7.Team player in a multi-cultural work environment
8.Work with less/no supervision and can handle management tasks.
