Responsibility
Support supplier selection
- Support supplier pre-selection from technical and quality view
- Perform supplier readiness process for purchased parts
- Evaluate risks of quality, process and input to Sourcing Decision Board (SDB)
Perform Advanced Product Quality Planning for new resourced/localized parts
- Monitor APQP process and timing at suppliers
- Verify supplier process and quality control
- Solve technical and quality problems at suppliers
- Approve or assist on approval of supplier PPAP
- Manage engineering changes (design, tooling, process, etc.) with suppliers
Supplier management after SOP
- Plan and conduct regular process audit at suppliers (VDA6.3)
- Support supplier assessments for quality aspects
- Leading escalated supplier quality issues
- Implement continuous improvement actions at suppliers to meet quality target
Develop local suppliers to meet ZF requirements
Work closely with global commodity team for strategic tasks
Support plants for supplier quality activities
Skills, Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor degree in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics
Familiar with assembly and electronics parts, eg, brake disc, motor, sensor, wire hardness, cable…etc.
Three years working experience in supplier quality field in the automotive industry
Familiar with quality system such as ISO/TS 16949, VDA
Expert of quality management tools
Good knowledge of material specification and testing standards
Skillful with MS Office and internet applications
English (business fluent)
Familiar with project management
APQP-Process-knowledge
Proactive and strict working style
Good at communication and team work
Flexible for frequent travels
