Responsibilities
Cost Engineering Intern
Northville

Position Summary: Cost Engineering Intern supporting Tsetinis US Cost Engineering Team with everyday tasks as outlined below

Position Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
  • Support collection and analysis of client provided data and information
  • Learn how to use our cost calculation software
  • Help build product cost models
  • Perform data analyses and help interpret results
  • Participate in supplier visits
  • Provide suggestions to reduce product cost
    Client-Facing Responsibilities:
  • Help prepare for client meetings and workshops
  • Help prepare for supplier negotiations
  • Help prepare project documentation
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

    Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a student currently enrolled in a four-year Engineering degree program at an accredited institution
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 scale
  • Prior experience working on and / or leading project teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Some experience in reading, interpreting, and understanding technical drawings
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Powerpoint, and Word

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to take direction, coaching, and feedback
  • Demonstrated strengths in problem solving
  • Thoughtful, articulate, and polished communicator
  • High energy, proactive, and ability to anticipate challenges and next steps
