ZF is a leading developer of embedded systems targeted for the automated driving space. ZF’s latest offering is an NVIDIA based platform called ProAI. ProAI systems are used by OEMs worldwide as the brains behind self-driving vehicle programs. ProAI compute systems interact with the latest sensing technologies, host the most advanced AI algorithms and provide the highest level of vehicle controls. ProAI systems represent some of the latest technologies in high performance heterogeneous automotive computing.

  1. Engineering Project Manager to help lead the activities of the Principal ProAI team based in Division U.
  2. Provided an interface to the ProAI teams in Division U and Division E.
  3. Ensure on time delivery of work products to multiple global application teams delivering ProAI based products to their customers.
  4. Align the work activities of the various global disciplines that make up the ProAI team.
  5. Manage the relationship and expectation of multiple OEM customers, manage project issues, ensure deliverables are being meet and provide support for application teams delivering ProAI based compute platforms to OEMs worldwide.
  6. Engage with NVIDIA on project and technical issues.
  7. Provide support to RFQ teams and business hunting efforts related to ProAI.
  8. Willingness to travel internationally.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or embedded systems.
- Strong background in high-performance and heterogenous computing with an emphasis on GPU and GPGPU based platforms.
- Knowledge and experience with computer vision, automated driving and driver assistance.
- Knowledge an experience with delivering safety critical and real time systems to commercial and retail applications.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fluency in English required.
- Fluency in German highly desirable.

• At least 5-10 years of experience in the development and deployment of embedded ECUs in the automated driving, driver assistance, robotics or military /aerospace space.
  • Ability to manage complex deliverables leveraging a global organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple OEM customers in parallel.
  • Ability to communicate in English on technical subjects both in oral and writing, to work with global team members and customers.
  • Ability to succeed in an environment that is constantly changing and adapting to new technologies.
