Job Description


Main Objectives

This position manages, drives and monitors daily operations of the plant and ensure the alignment of all plant activities with the divisions/regional business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure positive P&L performance as well as the final target achievement.
2. Implement an efficient organizational structure & processes to meet customer & company targets.
3. Develop, coordinate and execute the short- & long-term Strategic & Business Plan and track effectively its implementation which includes sales plan, resource plan, process plan, quality plan, cost budgets as well as EHS aspects.
4. Manage day-to-day operations within the plant in order to fullfill the organizations’s as well as customer’s requirements.
5. Manage new projects throughout all projects gates from launch to end of production.
6. Monitor, analyze and report on the organization’s performance and KPIs to senior management.
7. Lead, guide, develop and support the plant management team while creating an environment of cooperation and mutual trust.
8. Develop and monitor policies & procedures for the plant. Ensure the overall compliance with company directives & guidelines, quality systems and the local legal environment as well.


Basic Requirements

1. Working experience Min. 15 years of professional experience in automotive or automotive supplier industry, from which min. 3 years GM/Plant Mgr/Operational manager.
2. Education Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar.
3. English Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin

2. Must have strong, down to the earth operational management skill and experiences.
3. Must have strong business acumen, be able to quickly identify the key issues inside the organization and take effective actions with rational set up of priorities.
4. Must have key financial knowledge and understand how to deliver the improvement of the profitability and cash flow of a business. Specifically he/she must be a strong cost driver – drive cost effectiveness at OH, raw material and labor efficiency. And as well a strong cash driver – understand clearly about how to minimize the working capital in the plant through improving the operational process and procedures.
5. Strong leadership skill – must demonstrate his/her strong organizational skill to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness – with solid soft skill and meanwhile build up strict disciplines inside the organization, not hesitate to stop the wrong doings and promote the optimized process, lead as an example.
6. Possess strategic mindset. Have logic and simplified problem solving methodologies.
7. Good at building up solid relationship with customers with strong verified experience of winning new business.
