We are looking for a new colleague in the Steering Department at our location in either Shirley (Solihull).
Your tasks as Software Engineer - Base Software (m/f/d):
- You will be responsible for the translation of customer and internal specifications into software requirements and Software designs
- Project lead the software development, testing and release throughout the product lifecycle
- Review software designs and implementations and support system level testing
- Ensure that all software meets industry safety- and process-standards (such as ISO26262 and Automotive SPICE)
- Contribute in the relevant areas of ECU and software safety analysis (e.g. dFMEA, FTA)
Your profile as Software Engineer - Base Software (m/f/d):
- Successfully completed Degree in Electronics Engineering/Software or a related discipline with a focus on software
- First experience in real-time embedded software development (C) and project lead
- Knowledge of safety-critical applications and/or component development as well as in other Engineering disciplines such as electronic hardware
- Understand software/systems design and experience of tools/methods, specifically UML/Rhapsody are highly welcome
- Fluent English language and strong problem-solving skills are mandatory for this role
