Position Description
Development and evaluation of software requirements and architectures of Embedded Braking Software against functional and quality requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Capture and Analyses of functional and quality requirements of Embedded Braking Software
  • This includes both concept studies as well as detailed architectures including the necessary analyses.
  • Support the SW design team to ensure the conformity to the architectures against the applicable safety requirements in the automotive industry (ISO-26262)
  • Support the SW team’s detailed design review to ensure the compliance with the design and to ensure fulfilment of the production standards, the ISO-26262 standards, and the requirements from AutoSPICE.
  • •Preparation of reports and analyses to support the decision for the design process of
  • Splitting of the system requirements and structural elements of the Braking Software,
  • Allocation of HW/SW elements & resources
  • Budgeting of memory, CPU usage, etc.
  • Preparation of metrics and reports for Impact analyses, Change tracking and Analyses status
  • Implementation of internal reviews and customer presentations.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Degree as an electrical, computer science and/or software engineer with a focus on SW architecture/requirements (Bachelor or Master)
  • Understanding of SIL/ASIL level of saftety relevant software and systems.
  • Experience in the field of Requirements Engineering and Management, model-based system development and semi-formal description such as UML/SysML
  • Knowledge of software tools such as IBM Rhapsody and Doors / MKS is an advantage.
  • Experience in direct contact with customers and suppliers within the automotive electronics industry.
  • Understanding and Experience in applicable processes and normative (ISO 26262, ASPICE, CMMI)
  • Good communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel.
