Job Description

This engaging placement offers the opportunity to be part of the Mechatronics Core Engineering team within the Steering department. Responsibilities include but not limited to work on Electric Drive test and control tune development, requirement traceability and writing/modifying scripts for modelling, data processing and problem investigation. This is critical to predicting and achieving the performance promised to key customers.

Your task:

  • Develop motor and electric drive test and tuning methods and tools.
  • Write complex scripts for modelling and data processing
  • Support team members in requirement traceability
  • Support problem investigation on mechatronics systems

Your profile:
  • Knowledge of software coding/scripting languages
  • Knowledge of electrical machines (especially motors)
  • Skillful people co-ordination and communication skills
  • Prepared to adapt to new working environments, methodologies and tools
