Position Description

These roles are required to provide support to the growing number of projects in N. America in DAS, Integrated, PSE and Braking electronics to help the organization achieve SPICE Compliance.

Position Requirements

  • Responsible for strategic planning and roadmap development for ASPICE Level 3 implementation across the Electronics division located globally.
  • Responsible for understanding the process landscape across various product lines located globally and suggest improvement recommendations.
  • Required to travel to various global locations for implementing ASPICE process
  • Responsible for supporting Customer Quality meetings and issue handling
  • Work with the management in supporting RFP for new customers for Quality management related
  • Responsible for mentoring and coaching Managers and leads across various process across the product development lifecycle
  • Responsible for working with the Project and the Program managers to identify quality goals and guide them to attain those goals
  • Perform/Support SPICE assessment for the projects against SPICE Level 3
  • Responsible for analyzing data and implementing the cost of Quality model to identify the failure costs
  • Review and improve process, procedures and templates constantly
  • Work with suppliers and customers to improve products and services
  • Monitor current processes and drive improvements/ corrections based on findings.
  • Review Customer Quality issues and initiate solutions.
  • Provide constant reporting to Management on the overall progress of the programs and projects

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • At least 7 years of applied experience in Quality Management (TS16949/QS9000 or ISO, ASPICE)
  • A thorough understanding of the ASPICE V2.5 and V3.0 and related Quality Standards Knowledge of APQP Process, process improvements, in-process audits, 8D methodology.
  • Experience in working with multiple customers globally on process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in Automotive processes especially in areas of Systems Engineering domain.
  • Clear, concise and open written and verbal communication containing appropriate detail with all stakeholders is necessary for success.
  • Analysis of data and the ability to plan for positive and negative trends is required.
  • Providing leadership to teams engaged in problem solving or innovative participation in the group is critical for success.
  • Degree in Engineering required.~cb~
