Develop, direct and coordinate engineering activities as they pertain to Change Control. These activities include the development and coordination of product or process changes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, direct, and administer the change management system for the applicable processes while obtaining commitment from a cross functional team which includes (but is not limited to) MES Engineer, Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer(s), Assembly Engineer, Test Bench Engineer, Quality and Logistics.
  • Manage the Development of process FMEAs, control plans, process flows, value stream maps, work instructions, procedures and drawings any time a new part or a change in part will be introduced to the manufacturing floor.
  • Process owner of the change management system to include administration of process FMEA, control plans, value stream maps, work instructions, procedures, drawings, and document control.
  • Develop Procedures that pertain to Production and Engineering (including but not limited to), Process FMEA, Engineering Change, Lean, etc.
  • Coordinates with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer in the planning, development, and installation of the Manufacturing Execution System.
  • Analyze data and develop methods for reporting change information.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements within the whole change process.
  • Reduce costs and non-value added activity using principles of Lean Manufacturing to include developing process flow, work instructions and procedures that are pursuant to facility-wide 5S requirements.
  • Manage and implement goals and strategic objectives that meet the business plan.
  • Understand and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Provide support for new and existing products or processes that affect productivity, costs, quality, and safety.
  • Administration of the PRIDE program for the BU IA and TU
    o Support Engineering, Logistics and production team with implementation of PRIDE initiatives
  • Administration of CIS (Continuous Improvement System)
    o Support implementation of cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives on shop floor
  • Work on special projects as assigned; perform related tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering
  • Basic English language competency required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Systems and Change Management processes.
  • 3 -4 years of experience (internship/co-op included)
