Performance and Racing Sales Representative

Position Summary:
The Performance and Racing Sales Representative is responsible for handling customer inquiries for Sachs Performance and ZF Racing parts on the North American market.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Processing of Sachs Performance and ZF Racing catalogue parts through the following duties:
  • Receive inquiries via phone, email, online and provide pricing and availability information.
  • Enter Sachs Performance and ZF Racing catalogue parts orders for dealers and end users into internal databases.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, dealer network and end users.
  • Communicate with suppliers to determine price and availability.
  • Follow up to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Develop and support sales partner, find new sales partners.
  • Assist in sales promotions.
  • Schedule and trigger shipments to the customers.
  • Handle customer complaints. Assist in the collection of past-due accounts.
  • Provide a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and reporting.
  • Working on improvements of the internal material flow process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Associate's Degree in Business
  • 0-3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project etc.)
  • Good technical abilities in business composition and mathematics
  • Good analytical abilities with a high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
  • Solid organizational and time/project management skills
  • Experience with ERP-systems
  • Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

    Preferred Skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field
  • Experience in the Automotive industry
  • German and/or Spanish language skills

    Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to an office atmosphere as well as the manufacturing floor.
