We are looking for a new colleague in the Steering Department at our location in Solihull.


Your Tasks as Principal Software Engineer –Steering Software (m/f):
  • You will be responsible for leading a software team (SW requirements/architecture/integration) for which you plan and coordinate tasks and activities
  • Analyse the received system and customer requirements for correctness and testability and review with our customers
  • Support the engineering manager in strategic initiatives as well as the architectural design of the software including behaviour and interface definition
  • Integrate the developed software based on the architectural design
  • Establish and maintain reporting of status and metrics
Your Profile as Principal Software Engineer –Steering Software (m/f):
  • Successfully completed Degree in Electronics Engineering/Software or a related discipline with a focus on software or similar
  • You will hold experience of leading software engineering teams
  • Understand software/systems design and experience of tools/methods, specifically UML/Rhapsody are highly welcome
  • Very good communication and motivation skills, hands-on mentality, able to manage a multisite team
  • Fluent English language and strong problem-solving skills are mandatory for this role
