COMPANY

ZF TRW is a leading Global supplier of commercial steering components for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Our company is respected world-wide for designing and manufacturing original systems, parts and components featured on most major truck and commercial vehicle manufacturers.

This role will be located in the Southeast region of the United States.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Develop and maintain effective fleet and dealer customer relationships.

§ Meet or exceed annual customer contact goals focusing on Class 6-8 fleets and dealers with >300 trucks.

§ Develop and implement sales and service support strategies at Key and At Risk accounts, maintaining customer satisfaction and profitable market share.

§ Provide product, warranty, and applications training in support of sales objectives.

§ Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner and ensure customer policy commitments are processed.

§ Develop and implement effective territory business plans to support company objectives.

§ Conduct annual customer satisfaction surveys to drive continuous improvement.

§ Establish internal reports on customer activities.

o Sales activities: wins/losses, target products, hurdles to sales goals, accounts at risk

o Call reports: product needs, performance issues, competitive activity, market trends

o AOR business status, market trends

o Assure reliability, accuracy, and currency of data in the warranty system database.

§ Manage key dealer relationships on an assigned basis

o Multi state, multi store dealerships representing 15%+ of any one OEM’s annual sales

o Develop and monitor regional programs designed to defend and grow ZF TRW share

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

§ Bachelors Degree (Business, Engineering or Marketing preferred)

§ A minimum of 5-10 years of Commercial Vehicle market experience.

§ Steering system product knowledge a plus.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

§ Good interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside ZF TRW in a professional manner.

§ Excellent problem solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges.

§ Capability to multi-task and prioritize projects.

§ Demonstrated strong sales and negotiation skills.

§ Strong personal computer skills required, including experience with MS Office software, Lotus Notes, MS Project.

§ Must be effective in a team environment and be able to work independently.

§ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required.

§ Strong dedication and commitment to quality customer service and satisfaction while following through on assigned projects.

§ Ability and desire to travel to customers and other ZF TRW locations (overnight domestic and international travel).

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 75% travel domestic and international region and ability to work non-traditional business hours to manage in global environment. ~cb~
