Job Description

We are looking for a new team member in the R&D department for our Wind Turbine Gearboxes in Antwerpen.

Your tasks as Reliability Engineer - Gearboxes (m/f):
  • Align different reliability models in ZF to converge to one approach
  • Identify improvements in the reliability model fundamentals and effectively communicate this to stakeholders
  • Support automatization of the reliability process, including the specification and validation thereof
  • Operational support of the developed automated tools
  • Ensure the data quality is efficient to perform the reliability analysis

Your profile as Reliability Engineer - Gearboxes (m/f):
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical, Mathematics, Statistic, Physics or similar
  • First work experience in reliability and statistics
  • Understanding of mechanical fatigue principles and their application to gears and bearings
  • You have affinity with digitalization of processes and are familiar with packages like Weibull++
  • Fluent in English (oral & written), programming knowledge in Python, R or Matlab is a plus
