Position Description:
Work on the development the next generation magnetic and inductive torque and angle sensor for Electronic Power Steering (EPS), which is part of the future autonomous driving. We are looking for a team player who is self-driving, independent and a good problem-solver.
You will work with global team in Europe and Asia to develop the sensor. It is also required to support the North America application team. Automotive backgrounds in requirement capturing, design, dFMEA, DVP&R and production launch experience will be required. Mechanical background with hands on experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the sensor requirement and work with supplier to complete design, validation and deliver work products according to the IS26262.
  • Capture customer requirement flow down, gap analysis and obtain customer approval.
  • Review sensor requirement with supplier and approve gap analysis.
  • Project management tasks include to timing, OIL, requirement, drawing release, dFMEA, safety case, validation and reporting.
  • Interface with global function teams in sensor, ECU, system and manufacturing.
  • Mechanical design experience required for test stand development.
  • Verify sensor performance.
  • Verify sensor magnet performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous automotive experience (post graduate).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with sensors (magnetic or inductive sensor, sensor testing and 6 sigma statistical capability analysis).
  • IQFMEA, DOORS and some CAD experience would be a plus.
  • Knowledge in sensing ASIC. Need hands on experience to evaluate ASIC performance and ASIL B, C & D according to ISO26262.
  • Knowledge in external sensor communication protocol.
  • Previous experience in generating validation plan per customer flow down: DVP&R and PVP&R.
Minimum Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
