Job Description:

Within the Braking Business Unit, a student will be an integral part of a skilled engineering team working directly on various assignments that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Job assignments will be placed in the following area:


• Slip-Control Systems


• Foundation Brakes


• Braking Actuation


• Braking Software

Core Duties (may include not limited to)
  • Development and delivery of Antilock Braking, Traction Control and Electronic Stability Control Systems
  • Design, implement, test and release embedded software to internal program application teams
  • Ensure systems and customer requirements are known and documented
  • Evaluate and solve technical issues in product development
  • Interface and communicate with both internal and external customers on technical matters
  • Maintain appropriate engineering procedures throughout the product development process to achieve engineering deliverables which include cost, reliability and manufacturing objectives

Education Requirements
Must be currently pursuing a 4-year college degree

Desired Qualifications:
A student must possess strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills, must be computer literate utilizing data spreadsheets, word processing and have the ability to learn and use custom software, must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills and must display personal maturity and a high level of professionalism.
