ZF advanced camera solutions provide safety systems such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Following Distance Indication (FDI), Lane Keeping assistance (LKAS) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). These functions are realized with a forward-looking monocular camera mounted at the windshield in the region of the rear-view mirror. This position is responsible for the software development of Camera systems for commercial vehicles within the DAS Business Unit.
Primary Responsibilities: - Assist software engineer’s development such as release process.
- Tests software designs and code at the unit and system level to ensure that all requirements are met and the highest software quality is achieved.
- Participate in internal design reviews.
- Read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware.
- Use oscilloscope and logic analyzer for trouble shooting.
- Attend code review.
Required Qualification:- Proficient in “C” language and have excellent oral and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle bus standards and experience with automotive software and device driver development are a plus.
- Electrical or Computer Engineering student currently pursuing a 4 year degree.
- Adaptability to work in an international company on a project with teams in multiple countries.
- Strong organizational/communication skill, ability to work within team environment.
