  • Product Overview:
    ZF TRW's advanced camera solutions provide safety systems such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Following Distance Indication (FDI), Lane Keeping assistance (LKAS) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). These functions are realized with a forward-looking monocular camera mounted at the windshield in the region of the rear-view mirror. This position is responsible for the software development of Camera systems for the ADAS Business Unit.

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan and track the “Request for quotation”-phase (RFQ) software activities for several customers for camera- and radar-projects
  • Lead the RFQ software engineering project team
  • Manage Customer requirements analysis activity
  • Perform Workload-planning of the RFQ-activities and of work-packages derived out of the customer requirements and project timing
  • Follow methodical approach to estimate software development effort
  • Work with suppliers to obtain quotations for the project
  • Analyze software code size and performance needs based customer requirements and provide input to hardware design team
  • Lead the software project CCB within the RFQ-phase
  • Manage changes: Estimate cost and timing impact of change requests, negotiate implementation with customer
  • Provide regular status updates to the management.
  • Serve as the main contact to the customers for software related questions and activities
  • Support technical design review with customer
  • Ensure lessons learned are identified and mitigated through the project development lifecycle
  • Follow the GEE RFQ-process and support the process improvements activities

  • Experience:


  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering or software engineering experience
  • Strong Microsoft suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of internal clients.
  • Ability to perform effectively within budgetary guidelines.
  • Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
  • Able to contribute to strong and dependable teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

-Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or similar discipline
-A Masters is preferred.
