Job Description

The following Major Responsibilities refer specifically to leadership of the Asia-Pacific portfolio teams. However, as defined by the Global OSS Product Portfolio Vice Presidents, some of these responsibilities may have a global scope. For the Asia-Pacific region:
  • Lead the development, review, revision and execution of the product line strategic plans (OPSP) for the OSS portfolio.
  • Take responsibility to define and execute some of the Strategic Actions Plans (SAPs) of the OSS portfolio, working with the cross functional team regionally and globally as required
  • Coordinate core products definition for each product group in the OSS portfolio (product road maps, target costs, etc,)
  • Monitor product development and launch status, develop and review BoM targets and progress against targets for product development and launch status
  • Develop and review product line cost targets and progress, including robust all elements of product line profitability management;
  • Provide leadership to regional commodity strategy and supplier sourcing initiatives
  • Lead preparations for and assist in facilitating regular regional portfolio management reviews and regular portfolio routines (CQA and pre-CQA, battle planning, sales target review, etc)
  • Ensure the application, coordination and execution of global quality standards and read across of lessons learned to the manufacturing facilities
Provide oversight and guidance to the sales teams to coordinate business capture activity across functions, including target reviews, give back and pricing reviews, sales & engineering workshops, sales training, CSR preparation and key battle plan review.

Job Requirements

Education Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree, MBA preferred

Experience and Skill Requirements
• Ability to work cross-functionally, in a global organization, managing multiple projects and competing priorities;
• Team player with Strong leadership skills;
• Excellent communication and moderator, written and presentation skills.
• Business level English language ability - foreign language ability highly desirable;
• Bachelor’s degree level education or equivalent;
• >10 years overall experience;
• Experience of operating in the automotive industry;
• Proactive and result-oriented.
