Position Summary:

Responsible to conduct supplier audits based on GMMOG (Global Materials Management Operations Guideline) and to develop standard and emergency supply concepts for complex supply chains to ensure uninterrupted material flow. Responsible to enforce suppliers’ adherence to supply concepts. 

Position Responsibilities:

•Develop standard and emergency supply concepts for complex supply chains extending over multiple continents.
•Perform logistics audits (GMMOG) at suppliers’ facilities.
•Issue corrective actions to suppliers for non-adherence.
•Provide guidance and support to suppliers in their logistics development.
•Continuous improvement of supply chain concepts.
•Successfully deliver multiple projects in parallel on time and under budget while linking multiple departments’ divergent requirements.
•Material and information flow analysis.
•Design and optimize supply chain. 
•Participate in the development of simulation models
•Define and include general plant and quality requirements in supply concept.
•Provide daily guidance and expertise across the plant regarding the above tasks.
•Develop KPI’s to measure supply chain stability
•Negotiate logistics portion of general purchase agreement
•Participate in performance tests
•Distribute available raw housings over multiple machining facilities with fluctuating capacities and fall out rates to maximize output for ZFTG•Schedule supplier’s production incl. weekend shifts according to raw parts availability and ZFTG’s demand
•Forecast midterm (next 2.5 weeks) line stop situations at ZFTG due to missing capacity (either raw or machining capacity) and request/coordinate potential bridge buy housings from ZFS
•Define flexible transportation route via air (standard or flash for triple costs) from AUS to EUR/USA and from EUR to USA
•Coordinate 3rd party repacker to assure parts availability at machining facility in USA. (“Just in time” is required due to limited storage space at machining facility)
•Understand and comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.
•Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles

Essential Skills and Experience:

•Bachelors Degree (preferred in Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain)
•4 years minimum of progressive supply chain experience
•Automotive experience​

Preferred Skills and experience:

•German and/or Spanish language
•Automotive experience
