Job Description

As a Supervisor - Systems Engineering Electrical Power Steering (EPS) you will be responsible for creating and leading a team dedicated to development of steering systems located in Bielsko-Biała.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring alignment and adherence of process, product, technical and training roadmap with global systems engineering team,

• Escalating or taking technical decisions in case of non-conformances of the steering system,

• Ensuring that the local systems engineering team has the required skill set for systems engineering,

• Ensuring that the local team is highly integrated with other global and local Team-Functions (e.g. Mechanical Design, Safety, Software/Hardware-Design, System Validation, Product Support).

Your Profile as Supervisor - Systems Engineering EPS:

• University degree or polytechnic degree in electronics, mechatronics or similar,

• Strongly preferred 5 years of experience in automotive industry with at least 2 years in a leadership position,

• Advanced knowledge of embedded systems and functional safety in the automotive area,

• High level of analytical abilities, strong engineering judgment and team leadership skills,

• Broad understanding of requirements and architecture tool chain (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody), ideally knowledge on modelling approaches like SysML or UML,

• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills (English),

• Self-dependent working with a rigorous & positive approach / intelligent & energetic / good team-player.

Education Requirements
University or polytechnic degree in mechatronics, electronics or equivalent

Experience and Skill Requirements
- Advanced / Good understanding of steering systems, electronics and software
- Experienced in configuration management on E/E steering systems
- Experienced in Calibration Tools such as CanAPE
- Good oral/written communication skills (English)
- Self dependent working with a rigorous & positive approach / intelligent & energetic / good team-player.
