Job Description

This role is responsible for execution of tactical activities for recruitment, particularly Engineering, and onboarding for professional-level positions at ZF's U.S. locations.
  • Responsible for recruitment of students within ZF's University Relations program, to include acting as liaison with identified universities, ensure ZF representation at career events and recruitment of students to fill vacant co-op/intern positions. Some travel required to various college campuses throughout the US.
  • Develop job postings and decide where to source for qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial screening with candidates to determine match to the position requirements. Schedule interviews and/or assessments with local human resources and/or hiring teams as requested.
  • Work closely with local human resources representatives and hiring managers to prepare and extend employment offers and complete search process (e.g. feedback to candidates not selected, etc.).
  • Coordinate on-boarding activities (background check, drug screen, new hire orientation, etc.) and manage the relationship with external providers, where applicable.
  • Manage compliance to applicable employment laws and requirements specific to recruitment (VEVRA, applicant recordkeeping, etc.).
  • Maintain a variety of recruiting data and prepare reports to communicate recruitment status and performance against identified metrics (e.g. cost-per-hire, days to close, interview:hire ratio, etc.).
  • May be responsible for providing coaching/training to human resources representatives and/or hiring teams on use of situation-based interview techniques.

Bachelor Degree required, preferably in the field directly related to Human Resources (HR Development, Labor Relations, etc.

1-3 years relevant experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Use of recruitment databases would be preferred. Ability to travel to university events when needed (less than 10%).
